I’m borderline giddy about today’s #FitbieFind! You may have noticed that I adore dark chocolate and that nut butter is my way of life, so my recent discovery of NuttZo Organic Chocolate Seven Nut & Seed Butter was a Game. Changer.
I know, I know, there are a bunch of chocolate nut butters on supermarket shelves these days, but here’s the thing: Even the healthiest of those spreads usually contain at least a couple of teaspoons of added sugar (let’s not even talk about Nutella). Chocolate NuttZo butter, on the other hand? Just 2 grams of total sugar, only one of which is added. That’s pretty impressive, and moves this creamy, dreamy jar from dessert territory to breakfast-worthy (warm it up in the microwave and add it to Greek yogurt and the rest of your day can’t possibly go wrong).
The one con: It ain’t cheap. But when you consider all the fiber (3 grams),protein (7 grams), and healthy fats (11 grams) you get from the powerhouse lineup of peanuts, cashews, almonds, flax seeds, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, and sunflower seeds, it’s worth keeping a jar in the rotation. And if chocolate isn’t your thing (???), NuttZo also comes in Original and Peanut-Free flavors.
What else we love:
• All flavors are available in crunchy and smooth varieties
• 100% organic ingredients
• No added oils
• Gluten-free certified
