For the DONUTS:
½ cup almond flour
½ cup coconut flour
1 tsp cacao powder
1.5 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1/3 cup Chocolate Power Fuel NuttZo
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
½ cup plus 1/3 cup cashew milk
1/3 cup applesauce
2 tbsp agave (optional)
For the GLAZE:
2 tbsp Chocolate Power Fuel NuttZo
2 tbsp cashew milk
¾ cup powdered sugar
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Mix your wet doughnut ingredients together in a bowl (almond flour through salt in the list above).
Mix your dry doughnut ingredients together in a separate bowl.
Pour your wet ingredients into your dry ingredients.
Fill a greased doughnut pan with your dough.
Cook until the doughnuts are firm and bounce back to the touch – about 30 minutes.
While doughnuts are baking, make the glaze by combining all ingredients in a bowl and whisking until combined.
Allow doughnuts to cool completely before removing from pan.
Dip doughnuts in glaze and enjoy!
*The dough will not rise much in the oven – that is okay. Just flatten dough in the pan in order to have smooth edges once baked.
