You have to try these!! I guarantee you will not go back to regular cookies again. They are healthy, easy, and so yummy! The boys devour them. Enjoy!
1/2 C ground old fashioned oats (used 5 Grain Oats)
1/2 C almond meal (almonds ground)
1/2 C NuttZo PF
1/4 C NuttZo Original
1/2 C raisins (used golden)
1 tsp Real Raw Ground Vanilla Beans (could use vanilla extract)
4 Medjool Dates (pits removed)
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon
A little less than 1/2 tsp ginger, ground spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg, ground spice
1 pinch of sea salt
1 T black strap molasses (could use dark)
In a food processor grind oats to a fine powder. Add everything else. Turn food processor on high for about two minutes until it forms into a soft cookie dough. It will still look slightly crumbly but when you push it together between your fingers, it will hold nicely. Shape into cookies. Put into a container and refrigerate, if you don’t eat them all first! Makes 12.
