Place filling ingredients into a small bowl & stir to combine then place in the fridge/set aside while you pit your dates
Pit dates – place on to a lined baking sheet (or plate)
Spoon 1 tsp of nougat filling into each date, gently pinch to re-close & place back on to your baking sheet/plate then place into the freezer while you prepare your chocolate.
Melt chocolate & coconut oil by your preferred method
Use 2 forks to coat each date in melted chocolate then place back on the baking sheet
Sprinkle with chopped almonds & a pinch of flaky sea salt
