NuttZo Bison Lettuce Wraps

DESCRIPTION


While enjoying, close your eyes and imagine you are resting on the magnificent Great Wall.

Make the special sauce by mixing all ingredients into a small bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve. (For children omit the garlic chili paste.)

Prepare the stir-fry sauce by mixing the soy sauce, aguave syrup, and rice vinegar together in a small bowl.

Place cast iron pan on med-high heat and add mushroom broth, bison, garlic, onions, water chestnuts and mushrooms to the pan. When bison is no longer pink, add the stir-fry sauce and bean sprouts. Cook until liquid has evaporated.

Grab a lettuce “cup”. Add the stir-fried bison mixture. Top with tomatoes and 1T of “special sauce.

  • 1lb ground Bison
  • 1/4 cup of mushroom broth
  • 1/4 cup water chestnuts, minced
  • 2/3 cup mushrooms, minced
  • 3 T chopped onions chop
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups of bean sprouts
  • butter lettuce
  • baby tomatoes cut in half

  • 1/4 cup Braggs Liquid Aminos
  • 2 T Agave syrup
  • 1 T rice wine vinegar
Special Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3T Braggs Liquid Aminos
  • 2T rice wine vinegar
  • 2T lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2T hot mustard
  • 1-2 tsp garlic and red chili paste (for adult version)
  • 1/2 cup NuttZo or NuttZo PF
